Late afternoon visitors

This was about 3:30 in the afternoon of yet another gloomy day with no sun. This is the second of this years two fawns , now almost adult sized, following their mother across the yard. They pass through , eat some grass and then head to the river for a drink . I think the river is a little high after all the rain ( ie just below flooding stage).Hope they were able to safely get something. This one stayed longer than the other two  and then suddenly realized he/she was all alone and took off in a hurry after mom.
I do wish I could get the camera lower than a 640-800 ISO. But I am pleased that the photos are sharper when enlarged that with the D90. I must say though the  new camera is not as happy with very cold weather.
So far temps in the 30's since our Christmas Eve all day /all night  downpour so it has not been an issue except for our one day in the teens when the response times were slower.
Well , off to restock the bird feeders!.
