Testing

On Monday the county council's vountary Corona virus testing station is being moved from the county capital Mindelheim to Erkheim just 5km from us & directly on the motorway junction. The council needs the yard where it was back as it is the winter salting operation yard. Added to that Erkheim is more convenient for most.

It is a drive through operation only for people who want a test but don't think they have the virus. Need to phone or book an appointment online. Due to lack of demand, it is only open for a few hours in the afternoons but will increase should there be a demand. Naturally free of charge.

It is situated on the car park of the town sports club. A few electricians were inside working on the finishing touches as Luna & I passed on our evening walk.
