Winter tree reflection

It's quite difficult to make sense of this photograph unless you know that it's an upside down reflection of the tree in the garden next to ours in the puddle (wee loch) in the middle of our lawn-to-be. I have turned the original photograph the 'right' way up.

My main activity today has been to brew soup. I made batches of curried parsnip, carrot and lemon, and spicy sweet potato to add to the existing freezer stocks of beetroot, 'orange', spicy squash, and roast tomato and pepper. These two-person portions will provide lunches for us until the end of January.
