Pudding

Our neighbours won this cake from a local bakery and it’s possibly the BIGGEST cake I’ve ever seen!
The photo doesn’t do it justice; it’s about the same size as a beach ball.

They very kindly messaged Mr A to ask if we might like some, as it was far too big for them and their Christmas Day family bubble to get through on their own.

We were given a decent slab, (which weighed a ton) and with best efforts by Mr A, we just couldn’t finish it.

Luckily for me so I didn’t scoff the lot it comprised mostly of things I don’t like; maltesers on the outside and a banoffee filling on the inside.

We’ve since been offered more as they are struggling to get through it, but I think we are all caked out :-)
