The day after Boxing Day

There aren't many things in life better than a new set of Christmas books, are there? Thanks to M&D for this one which I started today (and dad for the mug!) and also thanks to musicalblips and R&J for adding to the pile.

It seems any talk of Christmas in 2020 must be pre-fixed with 'of course, this isn't a normal Christmas....'. True. But it's been fairly normal when it comes to three days of constant eating and needing elasticated trousers by about 3pm. It's nearing the point when I only want to eat vegetables for a week. But not quite yet.

Thanks to shoegirl for the epic family quiz this evening. I got told off by mum for being too competitive. Seems a bit rich when I literally inherited this trait from her side of the family.
