My friend bought me some buttermilk as I had mentioned I would like to make some Irish soda bread and that is one of the ingredients.     So that is what I decided to do this afternoon.    It came out really well and after I had photographed it I just had to try a piece with some butter and it's really delicious.    I've put most of it in the freezer (away from temptation) and will enjoy it all the more with homemade soup.
Steven brought Charlie round to see Luna just before lunch and brought a bowl of still hot Leek and Potato soup that Maddie had made, it was really delicious, pity I hadn't made the bread this morning.
