Not much ice...

...& still no snow, although we're supposed to get some this evening--we'll see. I went to church this morning, and with me safely out of the way, Tom went out to the garage, crawled inside & managed to fix the door. I KNEW he'd do it the minute my back was turned, but it wasn't as bad as he'd thought so he said it wasn't hard to fix. He hates paying someone to fix what he thought he could fix himself, and I can understand that. The garage door was wide open when I came home so I knew that was his way of letting me know he'd done it. I got a call from Mae last evening asking if she could come over today, so I went and got her after breakfast. I told her to bundle up and we'd go walk along the lake, which we did. Even though it was cold, we had a good time. I've put three photos in the extras just to use some up. We came home and made hot chocolate with marshmallows, then cut out paper dolls which we made paper clothes for, we had lunch, we've read a couple of books, and soon we'll be making banana cranberry bread. I don't know about Mae, but I'm going to sleep well tonight! :)
