All the doors open on Landon’s advent calendar

A tempestuous night with the wind and rain battering the house. All calm though when we eventually got up and within an hour the sun was shining and did so for the rest of the day.

We walked to the garden centre for some replacement tree lights. Not many people there and no half price lights.

Mote Park was rammed full of people, some remain oblivious to circumstances other rather more polite and aware.

Another little crisis with Doreen this morning and as she didn’t want to come down to us Susan has just gone up with some dinner. Her days of being able to live on her own are numbered. We think she’ll have to live with us while we’re house hunting for a suitable place. She will insist she can manage but it’s no longer sustainable.

Had another chat with Chris in California. Landon was deeply engaged with his game so we didn’t get much out of him. Today’s blip is courtesy of Chris, showing all the doors on his advent calendar open. We’ll do another one for him next Christmas.
