Saas Queder

Beside the ski piste at Diavolezza is a ski tour ascent of over 1000m to the summit of Saas Queder. The cold temperatures had kept many people away, both on and off the piste. We stayed awhile taking in the breath-taking 360° views at the top in the sunshine, before heading down empty pistes. It was the first tour of the season for my friend Ruth and it was a great catch up too as we haven't seen each other for months. A happy day.
