Bursting amaryllis bud

There's something very hopeful about a flower bud bursting open. I'm glad this amaryllis has decided it's time to flower :-)

Thanks so much for your Abstract Thursday entries on Christmas Eve when there is so much else to do ! This next Thursday is not only the very last Thursday of the year, but even the very last day of this very strange year. The very optional theme is 'fireworks', I know that there won't be many fireworks anywhere so we'll have to create our own by editing, I think. But I'm glad with any AT entry, as again I can imagine people will have other things to do than faffing around for Abstract Thursday. The tag will be AT288.
