The Minions

The washing machine died on Christmas Eve. Not bad for a 22 year old machine. The dryer was 53 years old and still going strong but very inefficient. Both were replaced today. Phew!

For comparison, these are standard US machines but drums are so large I am a bit concerned that we will just be washing clothes once a month to make a full load. Washing capacity is 22lbs and the dryer is rated at 5.8 kw.

Now we can finally wash that circus tent.
