For the first time in a long while, I enjoyed the light, the lack of purpose and just being able to amble with a camera and take shots that appealed.

It's not been an enjoyable year -if you take blip as a barometer, there is a direct correleation between blipping frequency and 'happiness'. So it was good to be out today and taking photos. Hopefully it'll continue.
