Elephant in the room

Today, spent most of the day packing a travelling back from Cornwall - all holidays have to come to an end. We ended up in Coventry for an overnight stay with Uncle and Aunt. While the children were running around, expending pent up energy, I was looking for the next blip.

I noticed some flowers in a vase and thought I might try get close up. Although the flowers were lovely, the pic was not that exciting, so I tried a tight crop and landed a completely different image. Without examining the photo I never would have seen how beautiful this rose was, so I have made it my blip for the day. Enjoy
