Weather holding even if getting colder and a few light frosts. This is also the coldest spot on the entire property!

Now beams rearranged and a few added. Time to put on boarding but have discovered that in the barn there aren't enough old planks of sufficient quality to use without spending days on having very short pieces and having to play an enormous jigsaw puzzle.

Have decided to order 6 meter long planks from one of the local sawmills. My mill of choice which has sawn several of our tree trunks for me and which bare now the new beams hasn't got any 6 m planks at the moment, only 5 m. Another mill just south of Ottobeuren which I have used several times in the past has them, so have ordered them.
