Still festive

We always dread dismantling Christmas. Wish we had the nerve to stay decorated all year! :—) we do have 2 trees that stay up: one decorated with old jewelry and tea cups in the dining room and one with fish baits in the man room. Sadly, this one will eventually be put away but not right now. It will at least be after New Years. The colors and sparkle are comforting and calming. Red is a dominant color in our home anyway. :—)
I go for carpel tunnel surgery tomorrow around 11:45 AM. So pleased they will do it and hopefully end this pain!! It is an out patient procedure. So glad they view it as a little more necessary than elective surgery! My hand is getting difficult to use.
