stepping out

i don't like gloomy days - they make my mind wander. six emails and two phone conversations later and i feel like all this time i've just been looking back on something that was never there to begin with. it's as if i'm nostalgic for people and memories that don't belong to me, kind of the way you feel when you watch a movie that makes you wish you'd known what it was like way back when.
