Glentress in the snow

Claire has hired some mountain bikes for Xmas presents. It’s a coincidence that there was snow overnight, but it will make for great cycling at Glentress. We find helmets and gloves and pack them into the cars along with Johnny, Cameron, Marion, Megan and Angus.

I head instead to Galashiels to visit Ali. He feeds me lentil soup and plays me various CDs by people that I’ve either never heard or never heard of.

The bike crew have sauna’d by the time I get home. Leftovers are heated. The Trial of the Chicago Seven is watched.
