Music Salon Extraordinare-Charlie Grosclothe

My friends Kay Bevridge and Dr. John host the most interesting music salons at their home on Anna Maria Island. We had a wonderful repeat visit from a talented musician who plays, mandolin, zither/autoharp/guitar, piano(though not tonight) and sings folk, country, jazz, blues, gospel and you name it. He did a song called Play Something We All Know that he wrote and sang and it was catchy and rousing! He had us all singing! He makes the instruments almost lilt; the music is so upbeat! What a wonderful gift to all present. He and friend Luanne travel all over the world to play and sing. Hew is a true American troubador. My hat is off to Dr. John and Kay for putting this all together for the enjoyment of their many friends. What a great time we had. My personal favorite was St. John's Infirmary...but they were all great; it was a night of wonderful music! And he would tell the most marvelus stories longside his music. What a night!
