Urban Skiing! Downtown!

Can you believe you can x-country ski right downtown in Calgary? Oh my goodness! What a blast! The East Village community association built a 1 km track by Fort Calgary. We did 10 loops and it was exhilarating and beautiful. The ski track follows the Bow river, passes by historical Fort Calgary and wanders into the east Village park. Absolutely amazing. Thank you City of Calgary. You make Covid bearable.
