WHITE TAILED DEER
White-tailed Deer (Odocoileus virginianus); I was driving home from the service station and this group of does appeared in the field next to me in mid-day. Very unusual for White-tailed deer. They wanted to cross the road to get to the golf course where there might be grass available to gnaw on. I stopped, grabbed the D500 and shot through the windshield.
EXTRA: Then they moved behind me, quickly, and crossed the road to the cafeteria.
P.S. Just realized it was "Tiny Tuesday." Well, compared to a Brontosaurus, deer are pretty small, aren't they?
