Some overheard comments from today's visits to two shops and a bank.

In shops:

"Well, if you do that, everything will turn purple."

"They haven't got any muffins."
"Ok then, let's have some wine instead."

At the bank:

"Please can you tell me my account balance?"
"It is £357.50"
"Ok, can I withdraw £149.75 in cash?"
"Would £150 be better?"
"Oh, I suppose so."

Later, there was a full moon.
