Heronosaurus

I can't see a heron without thinking about dinosaurs! Went for a walk along Dun Laoghaire (W) pier this afternoon and this bold one was standing on the wall, fixing us with his steely  stare and daring us to approach him. He let us walk right up to him and take pictures from just 3 or 4 feet away. Definitely not camera shy, maybe hoping for a part in the next Jurassic Park movie?
