Life from city to village

Hazardous Conditions

It was snowing when I set out for work this morning, which rapidly became a blizzard. Skidded twice but regained control, so I was going slowly and gingerly. Then found two lorries were unable to finish the climb up past Garforth - there were cars coming down and it was simply too dangerous to try to pass, so I turned round and came home. At least I can work from home!
There weren't many other vehicles on the road, so I did stop at one point to take this shot. Love the snow, but I was relieved to get back without any dints to the car, or me!
Work was fairly busy but fine.  Caught up with a few people. It is looking worryingly busy with less people in.
