Coca cola in a bag.

If you want ice, you lose the bottle and get a bag.

I definitely need the ice.

I don't know if long is the right word to describe today. Exhausting. Draining. Painful. Those seem like better words to me.

Up early this morning for another bus ride. This time is was across the Cambodian/Thai border from Siem Reap to Bangkok. I had to go back to Bangkok to catch my flight the next day, so the border crossing wasn't something I could miss. The bus ride to the border itself wasn't bad. It really wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't been up the entire night before from food poisoning. So the bus ride wasn't bad. Getting out of Cambodia wasn't even difficult. It was the waiting for two hours in 35+ degree weather waiting for entry into Thailand which was the exhausting part.

A thousand or so people trying to get through six immigration lines does take a long time and I think I felt worse for the immigration officers who are dealing with the never ending lines than the people (including myself) who actually have to go through the line.

Well on the other side, I got this lovely bag of coca cola. It was originally in a bottle, but when she asked if I wanted ice and I said yes, into the bag it went.

After a ten minute wait, t was a short ride to a restaurant where it was an hour wait until a minibus finally came. Four hours later I finally arrived in Bangkok.

So as you can see, I'm not exactly sure is long is descriptive enough to describe today.
