Passing Shower

Everyone in Fletts’ concurred that it has been a very poor day, nor’east wind, heavy icy shooers.  This did nothing to brighten my humour after a mind-bending conversation with our contractor connecting the Hoy Kirk to mains water.  He has acquitted himself well but he has not been helped by the ‘facilitator’ from the Central Belt.  F’s sausages may offer some relief.

Pierre is currently struggling outside Borodino, but why did Leo Tolstoy send him there?

Joyous news today was our reconnection with a friend near Aberfoyle, who has Hoy connections.  Morag is living inside 100 acres on her own and being very brave.
