A tiny pinecone

from our pine trees in our garden, the main reason we have little squirrels visiting us all day.
My husband planted these trees 50 years ago, he bought them in 2 gallon containers. They are now fully grown and they need to be pruned every two years or so.....They are the kind with long pine needles, the once you can use for baskets. I made several of those little baskets, at one point I gave up, because my fingers were bleeding from all the hard work. When you give those little baskets away as gifts, I don't think people realize how much work goes into those.
PS: I googled the name of the pine: long leaf pine. That's what I said before.
