Family art sessions via zoom have been a revelation this year. I should have finished work on the 22nd, I finished at midnight on the 22nd, another hour on the morning of the 23rd and then from the boy's bedtime till 1am Christmas Eve. But in the meantime I had a "day off" as planned, and part of that plan was massed family ranks from my big sister and her children in Bavaria, middle sister in Bedfordshire, us and my mum in the borders of Scotland. It was necessary family time, in a very 2020 type way after the last few weeks.
