The Bug

The Mistress took the Aucklander out winetasting again today. But instead of 5 wineries, they only did two!

Firstly they had a luncheon platter at Giesen, in a beautiful courtyard. It was hot so the waitress put the umbrella up and a HUGE bug fell out of the umbrella onto the table. The Mistress excitedly got me out of my padded cell bag and asked the Waitress to 'wait', but they were not going to allow the Mistress to photograph the bug on the table, so flicked it on the floor.

So the Mistress was then down on hands and knees pushing me into the face of this huge bug in the middle of the courtyard restaurant much to the amusement of all and sundry. The bug was gross. Probably half the size of the Mistress's hand.

If anyone knows what it is please do tell.

After lunch we took beautiful landscape shots at Yealands Winery down in Seddon. I much prefered that - fresh clean air and no dirty bugs!
