Beating the Birds
Very few currants set this season, and the birds were making sure I didn’t get any. Then I discovered these green nylon crop saver bags. I distributed them among the bushes. The uncovered fruit has gone, but I have my own personal supply. I have them on strawberries and cherries to.
I was out this morning at 4.45 am, hoping to catch the full moon setting. But, as usual, the clouds were low over the mountains. Summer is when the moon sets over the mountains. Today it was just a little south of Mount Torlesse. By maxing out the ISO I did capture the moon and the mountain, but it’s a terrible shot. See extra.
Other moonset shots.
