A Most Welcome Visit

Micky brought us a pot of hyacinths!  And a bouquet of dahlias which I'll shoot another time.  She was here around 10.45 and left close to 16.00.  Loads of catch-up yakkety-yak.  No eating for her, though, just coffee, as I didn't buy anything at all due to her various allergies.  She is used to this and finds it regretful.  Her allergies have severely limited her social life.  For those who understand, though, it's okay.

And that was the highlight of Lockdown Day 15!

Other than that, the usual stuff -- colouring, bridge practice, housework, not necessarily in that order.  We're usually away this time of year, a tradition we created to get away from the other (established) traditions which we stopped believing in.  As we're home now, we are simply carrying on as we have always done.  It is a good way to stay grounded.

I look forward to the NEW year, to the passing of winter and the advent of spring.  And Micky and I have agreed we'll see each other again then.
