Birkrigg Common

The light was fantastic today but I forgot to take my camera out during the orienteering on Birkrigg Common and missed the amazing views over the sands. It really was beautiful.  Did not even have my phone with me so I'm stuck with a shot of Download that I took for the webmaster. You can tell by the fancy dress, this was a Christmas themed event.   As I've got some extras left and it is Christmas, I'm including in extras a selfie of me and Mr P in our themed outfits but you cant see the Christmas tree on my front 
Cumbria goes into Tier 4 from midnight tonight so we nipped up to Ambleside afterwards to do a quick bit of "non essential" shopping in the outdoor shops
