My Camera Is Deceased

With just 7 days warranty left - my camera is displaying the message *lens control error* - and won't take pictures

The suggestion from the online help site was to hit the camera gently on the side - this didn't work. They seem to think along the same lines as me. *If it doesn't work - kick it* is one of my favourite mantras

Good job I managed to find the only other camera we have - my phone is not smart enough to have one - so (luckily for you) at least I can carrying on blipping.
