Snowy

A gorgeous day starting with a lazy luxurious long read in bed, The Salt Path, incredibly moving and beautiful book,
A good dose of pottering, putting new pictures up, cooking lunch and then a kick up my teens backsides to go for a walk. Dropped the car in Roslin and headed home enjoying the blue skies and the snowy light...until the snow started first as a couple of flakes and then, more than halfway became a blizzard. Sent two kids homeward whilst me and F headed back to rescue the car from being stranded in the wrong town.
R’s turn for cooking tea and a leg of lamb with all the trimmings was served to perfection.
Finished Industry and a rather large bar of Fruit and Nut.
Loving the proper time off work, may not be able to travel but I’m a home bird at heart.
