The Quiet Garden

Back in the park doing lots of steps today. I’m trying to walk off the Christmas Cake, Mince pies, Stollen, Crisps, Ardbeg, Trifle, Chocolate and Biscuits. Oh dear. Written down it looks awful.
I’m sitting on a bench waiting for my daughter to arrive and there is no one in this section of park other than a squirrel and a pigeon on the grass. Very peaceful until the squirrels climbed up our trousers trying to find food. It was so funny. It was very cold today. The snow did not arrive as forecast.
