Wide Wednesday - Non-typical...

...snowfall. Or something between rain and snow; is there any good English word to express it? In Sweden you can say blötsnö ("wet snow") and in Finnish räntasade ("räntä rain"). I'm afraid there will not be any winter landscape by this... :(
