Steely Underground
Took J's Mum & Dad to see Midnight Tango yesterday which was a really good excuse to see it again, such a good show.
J's parents are 83 & 79 years old and it's their first visit to London for about 6 years. The underground was really busy, we had to let a few fully packed trains go rather than 'rush' which was not possible to get all four of us on.
J's Dad found the underground stairs a bit of a struggle. He does love to talk to strangers and it was a good job I was watching from the back as he got involved in a conversation with a stranger at the underground exit and started to follow him in the opposite direction to J & her Mum, so I had to rescue him.
We had a really lovely dinner at an Italian restaurant and the other thing to make me laugh was J's Mum reading the menu "Are you going to put your glasses on?", "There's not much point it's in a foreign language!", "The titles are in Italian, but the description is in English?" , "Oh, yes!"
It was a really enjoyable day and manged to get home without seeing the rugby score and watched the recording of England beating France!
