homemade Christmas tree ornaments

My first Christmas away from home, my aunt sent me a kit of wooden ornaments and paint. Karen and I made them and loved it and, as you can see, we still have them. Samuel wanted a walk at lunchtime today so I decided I'd take this one to a real evergreen tree and after walking for a while wondered why we don't have more evergreen trees! It is a forest! Shouldn't there be diversity!

Thailand has intensified its lockdown. Uganda is no longer ok. Britain is going Tier 4. 

As someone from Gen X, as a latchkey kid, as someone who has gone through much, much worse than this, for much longer:  This is all temporary. It won't go on forever. You can do this. I promise.
