Farewell to the cottage

We haven’t moved out yet but I went over today to drop off Christmas presents that have come from B/C via DPD for R and Alice.  They were also packing up to leave to go back to Alice’s Mum’s which will be their base for now with R going back to work on Monday.  It’s been a difficult day with Mum’s covid test coming back positive but she’s in hospital so in the best care (NB @treshnish she’s ok! Coming out today) and brother number 3 swooping down from London with immunity from an early dose of it to look after D in their house.   Cocktails with B and C in the evening to open their presents to us, a beautiful hat for me, some cocktails from his mixologist friends club and a crazy carpet for Vik that came from Afghanistan.
