the crew

For my birthday treat we met our eldest Nick and Liz for a walk from Middleton Hall then around the RSPB reserve. The walk was however cut short as the paths were so muddy is was more like skating. We both drive on to the Fig to meet with my brother and SiL for a takeaway lunch which we eat in the car park. It was a nice surprise when my niece also turned up with a card and present. Just before I took this family shot the news had come through regarding the move of all our areas to tier 4 from midnight, never mind keep smiling. 
Oh yes and a nice day was topped off with a copy of Derbyshire Life that has a photo of mine, a heron, within an article written by a local pro photographer about the Derwent Valley
