LD 282 Early Start, late finish

I had to leave the house at 6.00 am and didn't get back until almost 8.00pm.

In the intervening time I had driven to Edinburgh for the recall of the Parliament , given evidence to the Europe Committee about the Legislative Consent Memorandum my officials had produced in record time and which recommended not giving consent to the UK Bill being rushed through Westminster today, summed up in the subsequent debate on the issue which saw consent being refused by 92 votes to 30 with one abstention and then driven back home.

It was cold , icy and at times snowy all the way but there were some wonderful views , including this taken as I de-iced the car before I left home.
