It is ALMOST my birthday. According to my mother, who to be honest was not known for her truth-telling tendencies, I was born at midnight. Under pressure to choose one day or the other, she picked new year’s eve and my birth was recorded at 11.58pm, which surely puts my special day in contention for the title of shortest birthday ever. Anyway, seemed like a good time to start a new photo journal!
