Full Hogmanay Moon!

1°C  -  12 mph NNW Wind Speed  -  24 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy.  I t snowed heavily last night but by midday it was nearly all gone.  Took the opportunity of clear roads to do some shopping for essentials.  Not really required, but ‘just in case’  -  I can never work out the New Year holidays in Scotland when shops will be shut!!  Did some Jacquie Lawson e-card sending and replying  -  I love her animations☺  Couldn’t think of a blip, but luckily had captured the Full December Moon at 2.18 am this morning when the sky was clear and the snow lay heavily on the ground.  Actually it was officially full on Wednesday at 3.28 am, but it was sulkily hiding behind clouds then  -  so here it is just a day later and as full as ever.  It has several names but the one I think is most appropriate is ‘Cold Full Moon’☺  Have a pleasant Hogmanay at home
