A New Year's Wish

Out with the old 

- do I have to put Christmas away? -

In with the new

- and it comes with a prayer -

This is a Norwegian table prayer that hangs in my dining room. My paternal grandfather would say grace in Norwegian when we gathered for holiday meals. Very special memory. Somehow seemed even more sacred than a regular prayer as it was tethered to a mysterious and far away place.
