Cold swimming

We all had a lie in this morning after the bad nights sleep yesterday. With the snow forecast we went up town hoping to get caught in it, but it never materialised. Went to Royal Mile Whiskies to get some supplies for tonight’s cocktails but they didn’t have them so we took a walk to their sister shop Drinks Monger in Brunsfield, ended up being nearly a 2 hour walk in the cold and drizzle. After lunch J arranged to go for a dip with SR at Joppa. It was a high tide and plenty of waves so no swimming but they did manage 5 minutes while Kilda barked at them from the shore. Back for a quiet night in and maybe a game of one of the new games that arrived today. Happy New Year all, hope it gets better by the end of 2021.
