Spot Sammy?

We are gradually sleeping a little better each night...... woke to another layer of the white stuff this morning! It did look beautiful, but so cold!

I took todays blip from the back bedroom window overlooking the garden, as I caught sight of something moving in the tree.....can you spot him?! It is a colour image btw not black & white.....you can just see the red roof tiles in the bottom corner.

Hubs had his final chemo meds for this cycle....still ok, feeling very tired, but his appetite is hanging on in there thankfully.

Porridge for breakfast, a toasted teacake, tea and a jam donut mid morning, the last of the homemade soup with a buttered roll for lunch.
Hes had one of the protein drinks,today too.

Ive cooked a piece of ham for dinner this evening, just glazed it and shoved it in the oven for the last 20 minutes. Think we will,have a mixed platter later, like a mini buffet on a plate kind a thing ;-)

Another relaxing day, not done a lot, other than cleared,the snow off the car, and a path from the front door to the car...... just to be on the safe side as hub said ;-)

We've watched Aladdin, followed by Sleepless in Seattle and currently watching the yorkshire lass Jane Macdonald, Cruising Cuba, and now India......we are enjoying it, but I think its making hub a little melancholy :-( as its something we have so enjoyed in the past.....

Some of our neighbours eill be standing inmtheir driveways at 11 tonight just to toast each other and welcome,in thr new year.....needless to say we wont be joining them, but if we are awake, we might wave from the balcony, well the bedroom window actually ;-)

Final thought for 2020......not a year we will remember fondly Im guessing, heres hoping 2021 is much kinder to us all!

We are just about to watch The Killers live in concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Sky 1 will lift our spirits thats for sure :-))
