The sun sets on 2020

We woke to a light dusting of snow and a sharp frost.  As I finished salting our steep access drive a fog descended and lingered for most of the day.  At about 3pm I noticed that we were starting to see over the fog so I grabbed my boots and made great haste up to Fell End behind our house.  The whole of Morecambe Bay was hidden beneath the cloud and even the lower parts of Grange were still in fog but the low golden sun was playing across the clouds and giving a spectacular show.  A magical end to 2020.
