Wild Wednesday ...

... birds only.

I really can't believe that this is the penultimate day of the year.  And what a year it's been, too.  I usually write up the highs and lows of the year but I'm not sure I'm going to do that this year ... we all have had the same type of year together.

I'm really grateful for this wonderful community that's help us all the stay sane ... well most of us.

I thought I would wrap up the final Wild Wednesday of the year with a bird collage. I'm equally grateful that so many different birds call our yard home.  Pictured here are ... clockwise from upper left: White-breasted nuthatch, Black-capped chickadee, female (or juvenile) Northern cardinal, male Northern cardinal, and a White-throated sparrow.

Backblipped: December 31, 2020.  And speaking of backblipping ... I have FINALLY gotten around to processing and posting all my vacation pictures from our early October vacation in Lake Lure, NC.  They start with a most unusual white squirrel and goes through the day after our return.  There are some really great photos here as we had an awesome vacation.  But my favorite is probably this green anole.  If you click on the "LakeLureHoliday2020" tag you can pull them all up.
