Forty Two minus Two

My 40th Birthday today.

Woken just after 8 by Miss42 pulling a bag of cards and presents through to our room "Can I help you open them daddy?"

Just a normal family day for us. Nice soup and rolls for lunch, swimming lesson in a bit and then out for burgers and shakes with some friends. I feel very loved and lucky.

I'm having a big party next weekend.
