Tarra 2020

A light powering dusted the Keswick road on the way to Bassenthwaite. It was as slippery as .... on the tarmac. The steps down to the lake were covered in black ice, but there was no ice on the lake. Air temp -2, water 2-3 degrees. I met a friend for a socially distanced swim around the yellow buoy (1/2km), you can see it, just, in the extra shot. I'm really enjoying my new hobby and have  met some amazing new friends.I'm looking forward to finding new swimming spots next year.
Of course there's been the utterly crap side of 2020, Toms mum dying, not being able to see family because of COVID, seeing the effects of COVID on my family. Brexit.
Let's hope next year brings better things for all.
