Goodnight!

Last shift of the year, 12 hours in A&E where there was a good few ice injuries although no doubt a lot less than there would be in non covid times.

It was reassuringly quiet on my drive home from Leeds so hopefully most people are following the rules and staying in.

Happy New Year feels like the wrong greeting this time round, tomorrow will no doubt feel like more of the same. There have been lots of positives in my year, especially the extra time I've had with the kids and less rushing about but I look forward to some normality and most of all spending time with family and giving my parents & sister a massive hug!
